Uluru, or Ayers Rock as it’s more commonly known outside of Oz, is a large sandstone formation (rock) in Australia. In fact, it’s considered the worlds largest rock.
The local Aṉangu do not climb the rock given it’s great spiritual significance. As such, out of respect, climbing Uluru is not recomended. Running around the rock sounds like a much greate challenge anyhow, given that it’s almost 10km in circumference!
